Day 29 - Pomodoro

Lots of these on the island ;D

Today we woke up from construction noise. It was super loud and annoying. So we got up and went downstairs for breakfast. Then Dom was booking our hostel for Florence, so I went upstairs to wait until she wanted to go snorkelling. Apparently I wouldn’t wake up. So Dom laid down on the terrace to wait for me to wake up. At 3:30 I woke up, I poked Dom and asked her if she wanted to go snorkelling. We didn’t because we had slept all day. So we went walking in the town instead. Dom bought a pendant and earrings and I bought two keychains, one for Katelyn and one for Dad. We also had freshly squeezed orange juice, which was delicious. We ate at a restaurant on the coast. Dom had prosciutto and melone; it was kinda weird tasting. Not good, not bad; just really different. We also had some really tasty pasta pomodoro. Classic! And delicious! So we headed back to our hostel to watch ‘Someone is Watching’ and ‘Hitch’, but ‘Hitch’ didn’t work. So we watched ‘X-Men’ instead. ‘X-Men’ was awesome, obviously, but the other one was kind of a dud. Then I was going to check my email and go to bed, but apparently I’m broke. My bank account was locked online, and there’s no way to get the money out of my savings and and into my checking account. Crap... Then eight boys from Australia showed up (at 11:30). I told them that it could be that Lorenzo wouldn’t be back until after 12:30. They also wanted to find some food, so I walked them down towards the coast. When I got back two Italian girls were waiting for Lorenzo as well, so I told them the same thing before showering and going to bed.
